A national atlas of Romania

The article announces Romania’s forthcoming national atlas, Atlasul Republicii Socialiste România, to be issued annually and completed in 1978. It will contain 76 plates with approximately 350 maps, covering physical geography and the country’s economic and social conditions. Each plate will include explanatory text and multilingual summaries. Its design follows recommendations of the International Geographical Union.
