K. Kuchař reviews the launch of Atlas der Schweiz (1965), edited by Ed. Imhof and H. Gutersohn. Planned to contain over 300 maps on 66 sheets at a basic scale of 1:500,000 or smaller, it covers Switzerland’s natural environment, history, population, and socioeconomic conditions. Map titles and legends are bilingual, while commentaries appear in German, French, and Italian. Publication is planned in eight to ten installments, issued as loose sheets in a box.
