Book reviews: Atlas of Israel. 8th and 9th installments

This review assesses the 22 map sheets added to the eighth and ninth installments of the Atlas of Israel, emphasizing their climatological and geographical value. The new material maps relative humidity, cloud cover, vapor pressure, dew nights, and hot, dry Sharav days, supplemented by diagrams of annual and diurnal variation. Four colored relief maps also depict Palestine and adjacent areas. These additions substantially strengthen regional climate mapping and provide valuable reference material for climatologists and geophysicists.
