Atlas de l'Europe de l'Ouest

Published in 1961 by the Société européenne d'études et d'informations, Jean Dollfus’s Atlas de l'Europe de l'Ouest surveyed fifteen countries west of the Iron Curtain. A review by P. F., dated 9 August 1961, described its combination of color maps and selected photographs covering physical, economic, demographic, and human geography. The reviewer particularly valued its thematic treatment of energy, textiles, metallurgy, machinery, chemicals, agricultural holdings, mechanization, and land use.
