This paper compiles a series of recent Cuban media reports covering cultural, scientific, and historical dimensions of the 61st anniversary of the Revolution. Key findings include the Ministry of Culture's organization of concerts, dances, and other artistic events to mark the anniversary and New Year; the presentation of the new National Atlas of Cuba LX Anniversary, a fully digital and genuinely Cuban product developed by over 300 specialists from 65 institutions under the guidance of the Institute of Tropical Geography; and the Atlas’s innovative inclusion of previously unrepresented themes such as rock art, protected areas, climate change, and demographic dynamics. Additionally, the paper revisits a historic moment in December 1959 when Fidel Castro signed the first agrarian reform land titles in Baracoa, symbolically reversing colonial dispossession, and when over forty prominent intellectuals signed a declaration pledging to join the revolutionary militias in defense of the nation.
