Reports of ICA Commissions: National and Regional Atlases

Summary

At the ICA General Assembly in Moscow on 9 August 2007, Peter Jordan succeeded Timothy Trainor as chair of the Commission on National and Regional Atlases. The Commission renewed its plan to produce within four years a methodological “cookbook” for editors of national, regional, city and thematic atlases; an editorial board was formed to define contents and recruit authors. It was also developing a website, hosted by the University of Vienna, with links to web atlases.
