Summary
This article is a collection of book and journal reviews from a French geography periodical. It reviews the Atlas of Australian Resources (Canberra, 1951-1960) and the Historisch-geographisches Kartenwerk covering the British Isles, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg (Leipzig, 1960), and introduces two new journals: Tiers-Monde and Revista Geographica de Informacion y Ensenanza. The author highly praises the Australian atlas for its comprehensive coverage of national resources, particularly valuing its comparative maps on population change and immigration; he also commends the German historical atlas for its design contrasting past and present conditions across economy, population, agriculture, and other themes, as well as its meticulous cartography and documentation. Brief notes on the scope and content of the new journals are also provided.
