This article reviews five newly published sheets of the Atlas of Australian Resources by the Department of National Development, covering educational facilities, health services, dominant land use, population change (1947–54), and ports and shipping. For each map, the review details cartographic methods, symbol systems, data presentation, and strengths or limitations.
