Summary

Werner Witt reviews the sixth instalment (1972) of the Atlas of Switzerland, covering geology and geotectonics, rocks and mineral resources, energy, industry and commerce, urban settlements, and 1:50,000 topographic excerpts of the Jura. He particularly praises the geological maps and structural profiles, finds the square cartogram of establishments and employment insufficiently expressive, and commends the consistently high quality of editorial, cartographic, and printing work.
